Dr. Wu

“Xiaoying Amber Wu, PsyD is a clinical neuropsychologist who completed her doctoral training at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her APA-accredited internship at Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center in Aurora, CO. She subsequently completed a postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology at VA Maryland Health Care System in Baltimore, MD, where she received advanced training across outpatient and interdisciplinary neuropsychological settings. Her clinical experience includes evaluation and intervention for individuals with a wide range of neurological, medical, and psychiatric conditions, including neurodegenerative diseases, epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, functional neurological disorders, and chronic pain syndrome. She provides neuropsychological evaluations for adults and offers services in both English and Mandarin Chinese.

Dr. Wu has a particular interest in the intersection between neuropsychological assessment and intervention, with an emphasis on using evaluation findings to support meaningful continuity of care and individualized treatment planning. Her research interests include neuropsychological feedback practices and improving engagement in follow-up care for individuals living with chronic neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis and epilepsy. She also has a strong interest in caregiver wellbeing and support for families affected by dementia and other neurocognitive disorders. Dr. Wu is a member of the Asian Neuropsychological Society and the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology.”
