Dr. Adreanna Watts

Adreanna Watts, Ph.D., is a clinical neuropsychologist and licensed clinical psychologist. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Wake Forest University and her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Maryland. Following graduate school, she completed a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology at the Washington DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center, which included didactic training through Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Dr. Watts provides neuropsychological evaluations to assist with differential diagnosis for a range of conditions, such as dementia (including Alzheimer’s disease), cerebrovascular disease/stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and psychiatric conditions.

 

Dr. Watts is actively involved in research on a range of topics, including studying the impact of various neurological and psychiatric conditions on cognition. She has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific journal articles, and she has presented her research at national and international conferences. She is a member of the American Psychological Association’s Society for Clinical Neuropsychology and the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology.
